From Sunday 30th May, High Peak Buses will be operating a X99 service from Buxton to Peak Wildlife Park & Alton Towers via Sterndale Moor, Hartington & Hulme End.
Local MP, Robert Largan who is campaigning for more regular bus services, has welcomed this announcement.
Customers travelling to the Peak Wildlife Park can present their X99 bus ticket to the ticket office and get 25% off entry. The ticket must be purchased and used on the same day as travel on X99.
More information about the service and the full timetable can be found online www.highpeakbuses.com/bus-services/x99/.
Robert Largan, MP for High Peak said:
“This is another positive step forward for local public transport. Hopefully this will also reduce the number of cars on our roads too.
“I’m sure many families will be excited for this new service, just in time for the summer holidays.”
