Robert Largan MP was in the dentist chair last week, on a special visit to local NHS Dentist, Hope Dental Clinic
The MP joined local dentist Sophie Mitchell to learn more about the practice and the current challenges facing NHS dentistry.
Hope Dental Practice is based on Eccles Road in the village of Hope, right in the heart of the Hope Valley.
The MP visited the practice to talk to staff and thank them for their hard work and amazing public service over the last few years.
Robert Largan MP commented:
“It was good to visit Hope Dental Clinic and chat to Sophie and the team about the challenges facing NHS dentists.
“A number of local dentists have recently announced that they are ending their NHS services, which is a major concern for local residents. I wanted to chat to one of our brilliant local NHS practices about the challenges facing the sector and to thank them for their hard work.
“Hope Dental Clinic is run by fantastic staff, who clearly have a passion for serving the local community. It was a really positive chat and I’ll continue to make the case for improving the NHS dental contracts and investing in training more NHS dentists.”
