High Peak MP Robert Largan and Councillor Linda Grooby recently met with the Technical Director of Keepmoat Homes at the Foxflow Fields Development in Harpur Hill.
Residents in Buxton contacted the pair to raise concerns about large aggregate piles on the site and the elevation being higher than that set out in the planning permission.
Mr Largan and Councillor Grooby raised these concerns with the Technical Director of Keepmoat Homes who confirmed that the aggregate piles are only temporary and will be removed. Keepmoat Homes also confirmed that some of the levels are temporarily higher than they will end up preventing silt runoff.
Robert Largan MP for High Peak commented:
“I am pleased Keepmoat Homes confirmed that all aggregate piles levels would be reduced to the approved height as set out in the original planning permission. I hope this is reassuring to nearby residents in places like Clifton Drive.”
