High Peak MP Robert Largan has congratulated Chinley Primary School after the school was awarded with the nationally recognised Online Safety Mark.
The Online Safety Mark is awarded to schools that demonstrate the best practice in safeguarding their children online. Awarded by the charity SWGfL, the assessment process involves evaluating a school’s online safety policy for children, staff and parents.
Chinley Primary School is one of only 400 schools that have received the Online Safety Mark across the country since the programme began in 2009, demonstrating the prestigious nature of this award.
Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, commented:
“I would like to congratulate Chinley Primary School on their achievement in receiving the nationally recognised Online Safety Mark.
“This award is testament to the school’s hard work to protect its children, staff and parents online, helping to equip students with the e-safety skills they need for the future.
“I am proud that Chinley Primary School is one of only 400 schools across the country to have achieved the Online Safety Mark. Well done to the entire school community for making this a reality!”
