Local MP Robert Largan paid a visit to Blythe House Hospice Care and Helen's Trust in Chapel-en-le-Frith to catch up with staff and see the completed refurbishment work.
The reception, porch, downstairs toilets, and bathroom area at Blythe House underwent a significant transformation in 2020 to ensure the building is accessible to all visitors.
Blythe House offers free care and support for anyone in the High Peak living with or affected by cancer or life-limiting illness. In partnership with Helen's Trust, they provide a 24/7 Hospice at Home service to local patients.
Last year, Robert donated 100 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) items to the Hospice, and hosted a virtual quiz which raised money for patient care and services.

Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, commented:
"Blythe House does fantastic work, especially with through community hub and Hospice at Home service.
"I've done fundraisers for the Hospice previously, and donated PPE to them at the height of the pandemic.
"Please do support them if you're able to do so. They're brilliant."
