Funding allocated by the Conservative Government to High Peak Borough Council totalling £969,541 is now being made available to applicants in the High Peak.
The grants, which have been made available jointly through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Rural England Prosperity Fund, are part of the Government’s commitment to level up communities across the United Kingdom.
High Peak MP Robert Largan welcomed the opening of applications for funding, which are divided into six categories for both businesses and communities.
This follows previous grants and funding made possible through the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and shows the commitment to communities and business across the High Peak which Mr Largan has secured from central Government.
Some of the funding is also in place to assist organisations with their bids. The grants are available until 2025 or until all of the funding has been allocated.

Robert Largan MP commented:
“It’s really great that the Government has decided to invest even more money in the High Peak and back local community organisations and businesses.
“I’m thankful that the funding also includes provision to assist community organisations and businesses with their bids, to make it more accessible.
“I will continue to fly the flag for community organisations and businesses across the High Peak, to get more Levelling Up and other funding for us and to make sure that we take full advantage of all the investment which is being provided from central Government.”
