This week’s visits included: Scrivener’s Books (Buxton), Buxton Market, The Thomas Theyer Foundation shop (Buxton), the Bridge Bakehouse (Whaley Bridge), Mac Burnham’s butchers (Chapel-en-le-Frith), The Old Cell Ale Bar (Chapel-en-le-Frith), Carpet Creations (Chapel-en-le-Frith) and itsy Bitsy (Chapel-en-le-Frith).
Robert Largan MP commented:
“We’re so lucky in High Peak to have such fantastic high streets and brilliant businesses and I’m determined to do what I can to support them through these difficult times. That’s why I’ve been working round the clock helping businesses throughout the crisis and it’s why I launched my High Peak Shop Local campaign.
“It was great to chat to lots of local businesses and take their feedback back to the Council and to Ministers. I’m also really pleased to see so many people coming out to shop local. I’m glad people have responded so well to my High Peak Shop Local campaign.”
