Hardworking local MP, Robert Largan, had a meeting with the Derbyshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Hardyal Dhindsa, in Whaley Bridge last week, to discuss crime issues across the High Peak.
The new Chief Constable, Rachel Swann, and Inspector Dave Parker also attended the meeting.
Robert commented:
"It was good to welcome our new Chief Constable Rachel Swann and to congratulate her on her appointment. Following her excellent leadership during the evacuation of Whaley Bridge last year, I know Derbyshire Police is in safe hands.
"It was a really positive meeting, where we discussed crime issues across the High Peak. I’m really pleased to have a close working relationship with Derbyshire Police, regularly raising issues with them on behalf of local people."
