Local MP Robert Largan has this week announced he is organising a Hadfield Community Policing Forum to give local residents a chance to raise their concerns with Derbyshire Police and ask them questions.
The online forum – which is open to all Hadfield residents – will be held at 7pm on Thursday 9 September.
It follows Robert organising similar forums for Fairfield residents in Buxton and Chinley residents, earlier in the year, which saw local residents putting their questions to representatives from Derbyshire Police.
Robert’s Hadfield Community Policing Forum continues his focus on crime and policing, and his efforts to help make the High Peak an even safer place to live.
The number of participants is limited to 300, and residents need to register to attend on Robert’s website at www.robertlargan.co.uk/hadfieldforum, where they can also submit a question they’d like to ask the police.
Robert said:
“I’m very grateful to Derbyshire Police for once again agreeing to take part in my community forum, and for all the hard work they do to keep us safe, especially during these difficult times.
“Following the success of my previous community policing forums, I hope that this will enable the residents of Hadfield to engage with the police and have their say on what the local policing priorities should be.”
