High Peak MP Robert Largan visited the Granart workshop in Chapel-en-le-Frith to discuss how they are doing business in a Covid-secure way. Granart creates bespoke memorials for cemeteries and crematoria.
Granart crafts memorials using high quality granite, including carvings, plaques, benches, vases, columbarium, ash vaults, and memorial towers. They are a family business, operating for over 30 years across the UK, from Aberdeen to Truro.
Reopening businesses across England is part of the careful easing of lockdown, providing they are meeting robust safety guidelines, keeping staff and customers safe as the economy starts moving again.
Robert Largan MP commented:
“It was a pleasure to visit Granart. They are a great family business based in the High Peak, and provide an essential service to communities across the country. I’m always keen to meet with local businesses and do what I can to support them.
“Granart also have an awesome dog!”
