Robert Largan MP welcomes new trains on the Hope Valley Line

High Peak MP Robert Largan has welcomed the news that Northern Trains have started running more modern trains on the Hope Valley Line.

Robert commented:

"I'm very excited to report that the first 195 trains have started running in the Hope Valley line over the weekend. These much more modern trains are air conditioned, have more seating and should ensure a much more comfortable and reliable service for people in New Mills, Chinley, Edale, Hope and Bamford. 

"I’ve long been campaigning to get the 195s on the line and replace the old pacers. Hopefully the last pacers will be gone very soon."
