Cabinet Minister and recent Conservative Party leadership contender Rory Stewart has endorsed Robert Largan’s campaign on a recent visit to the High Peak.

The International Development Secretary visited Chapel-en-le-Frith on Friday evening, speaking at a packed event in support of Robert Largan’s campaign.

The Conservative Candidate also took the opportunity to show the former diplomat around Chapel-en-le-Frith and highlight why the Peak District is such a fantastic place to visit.

“I’m here in the heart of the High Peak and the reason for that is because of Robert. He is a guy with a lot of imagination, a lot of intelligence, a lot of energy and I think he is a fantastic candidate.

“Please support Robert who I think will be great.”
