High Peak MP Robert Largan has continued to support local people throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, despite the logistical challenges involved. Over the last few months, Robert Largan MP has taken up over 7,500 individual cases on behalf of local people.
Due to the Government guidance on social distancing and the risk of transmission, Robert was forced to suspend face-to-face advice surgeries with constituents. But High Peak residents have still been able to contact Robert and his team in his Whaley Bridge office. The MP has been working round the clock to assist local families and businesses during the crisis.
Robert has been raising the concerns of High Peak residents at the highest levels of Government., making full use of video conferencing technology both in the High Peak and Westminster, including in the House of Commons chamber itself.
The next stage of the Government’s roadmap to recovery will allow face-to-face advice surgeries to resume next month.
Robert Largan MP commented:
“When I stood for election, I promised to be the most hard-working and accessible MP the High Peak has ever seen. The current crisis has made it very difficult but over the last few months, but I have been working round the clock, taking up over 7,500 individual cases on behalf of local people in the High Peak.
“This would not be possible without my truly dedicated constituency team, who help me to help everyone in the High Peak during this difficult time.
“I’m here to help. So please email me with any issues or questions on [email protected], and I will do what I can to help.”
