Pug & Pudding, a takeaway in Chapel-en-le-Frith, has been crowned the best takeaway in SK23 as part of Robert Largan MP's High Peak Best Takeaway Awards.
Earlier this year the local MP launched his takeaway competition to find the best local takeaways in the whole of the High Peak.
Anthony and Donna, who own and run Pug & Pudding, were presented with a certificate by Robert in their store. They were surprised to receive the award, and thanked their customers for their nomination.
All independent High Peak takeaways were eligible, whether long-established, or if they started offering takeaways during the pandemic. Other winners from the remaining postcodes around the High Peak will be announced soon.
Pug & Pudding offers a range of fresh food cooked to order—from loaded fries to buddha bowls, burgers, burritos, soft tacos, sandwiches and snacks. They are much more than just a coffee shop, and also sell a range of delicious cakes, bakes and cheesecakes.
