Local MP Robert Largan recently visited Röchling in Chapel-en-le-Frith, following the manufacturer attending Robert’s High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair.
During the visit, Robert discussed Röchling’s expansion plans. As the economy recovers from the pandemic, the growing business is experiencing unprecedented customer demand, so they are now looking to expand production to a new site in the High Peak.
Röchling, now German-owned, started as a small business in Whaley Bridge before moving to Chapel-en-le-Firth. Robert was given a factory tour to see how they manufacture high-end components used in everything from Formula 1 to healthcare.
Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, commented:
“It was good to visit Röchling in Chapel, following on from them taking part in my High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair. They are another great High Peak business looking for a new site to expand, and I’m happy to do what I can to help them.”
