Sophia Isabelle Lee (age 7) from Chinley Primary School won High Peak MP Robert Largan's Christmas Card Design Competition.
 
The MP presented the award to Sophia at a special visit to Chinley Primary School. Robert congratulated Sophia and said his e-card reflected the best of High Peak, displaying the creativity of local schoolchildren like Sophia.
 
The competition received hundreds of entries from school children across the High Peak. Sophia’s design was sent out to over 8,000 residents who get his email newsletter.
 
To be environmentally friendly, Mr Largan sent out an e-card, donating what he would have spent on a paper Christmas Card, to a local charity, the Thomas Theyer Foundation.
