The 2nd annual High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair hosted by local MP Robert Largan will take place this Friday, 23rd September, at New Mills Leisure Centre.
The event will take place from 10am until 2pm and will be open to all High Peak residents with free admission.

Robert is also working with New Mills charity Youth Matters to provide free bus transport from across the High Peak to the event in New Mills. Robert Largan, Member of Parliament for High Peak, commented:
“After months of preparation, I am looking forward to hosting my 2nd annual High Peak Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair this Friday in New Mills.
“The event will provide a unique opportunity for jobseekers, school leavers and those wishing to retrain to speak with 48 of our area’s best employers under one roof.
“There will be a talk on apprenticeships, financial support from Citizens Advice, access to employment schemes from Derbyshire County Council and much more besides. I have also worked hard to ensure that this event is accessible to Ukrainian refugees who might be looking for work here in High Peak.
“If you know somebody who might like to attend my Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair, please do share this with friends & family, or get in touch with my office on 01663 769779. I hope to see as many of you there as possible!”.
