Robert Largan MP has experienced a kicking at the hand of local children.

High Peak’s MP visited Warriors Fitness Centre in Bridgemont to spend time, in his words, “being kicked and punched by children.”

Warriors Fitness Centre provides sessions in boxing and kickboxing for all adults, ladies only and children’s groups.

The organisation has premises in Bridgemont and recently opened a new Buxton location.

The session was run by the organisation’s first, and newly-appointed, full time coach John Wakeham.

Mr Wakeham has been working tirelessly on building up junior classes in both boxing and kickboxing for Warriors Fitness Centre, which Mr Largan enjoyed learning about.
