Local business champion Chris Sizeland, who is the co-director of two Chapel-en-le-Frith based firms, has been recognised by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rt. Hon Jeremy Hunt MP.
Mr Sizeland, of IBottles Limited and CJK Packaging Limited, was invited to a reception with the Chancellor at 10 Downing Street recently to celebrate locally-nominated business champions.
High Peak Member of Parliament Robert Largan was pleased that Mr Sizeland accompanied him to Downing Street for the reception.
Robert Largan MP commented:
“I am really glad that the Chancellor of the Exchequer has decided to recognise such a great champion of business.
“The High Peak has such a lot of great local businesses and Chris is a shining example of the enterprising initiative which we are so lucky to possess.
“I was pleased to take him to Downing Street with me to meet other business champions and join the Chancellor in celebrating local enterprise.”
Chris Sizeland commented:
“It was nice being able to interact with all the other business champions and to see 10 Downing Street. I had some interesting chats with other businesses, talking about what they were doing and why they were there”
